A burger photographed on a dark background — stock image, not a Kairú product and not a plant-based item

[CONFIRM tagline — não inventar]

Plant-based burgers in Florianópolis. Order direct, with nobody in between.

the most important line on this site “100% plant-based” is a claim, not a decoration — which is why it is switched off in this build. It goes live only once the kitchen confirms that the bread, the sauces, the fryer oil and every ingredient are free of animal products, and states whether the kitchen also handles non-vegan items. Someone with a dairy or egg allergy and someone with an ethical commitment both rely on that sentence — and a false one is misleading advertising under the Brazilian Consumer Code.

the menu google can actually read.

Today it lives inside an Instagram highlight: invisible to search, unreadable to a screen reader, impossible to filter. Nobody searching “vegan burger Florianópolis” finds you.

about these photographs Every burger photograph on this site is stock, and every one of them shows meat and dairy cheese — there is no decent stock photography of a plant-based burger. In a 100% plant-based kitchen that is not an aesthetic detail: it is the difference between showing your product and showing precisely what you do not serve. Real photography, shot on black, is not an extra on this project — it is a requirement.

Not one burger, ingredient, sauce or price on this menu is real. On a burger menu the temptation to write something plausible is high and the damage is total: someone choosing on an ingredient list cannot be handed an invented one. The whole board comes from a single array at the top of script.js — editable live in the meeting.

No cart, no payment on the site, no backend. It is the cheapest possible way to raise average ticket, and it costs one afternoon to build.

Combo pricing and what it includes: [CONFIRM]. Under the CDC a combo has to state clearly what is in it.

order direct

two ways to order, and we show both.

on WhatsApp

Straight to the kitchen. No platform commission — the whole order value stays with Kairú, and that is what pays for what a plant-based burger actually costs to make.

on iFood

If you are there, the link sits here too. The platform brings volume and there is no sense fighting it — the site adds a channel, it does not replace what already works.

[CONFIRM whether they are on iFood] — the most commercially important open question on this lead. No app badge, link or rating ships unverified, and no delivery rating is ever invented. If app pricing differs from counter pricing, that has to be stated.

what is in it

this is precisely what a vegan customer chooses on.

Where do the patties, the bread and the sauces come from? Are they house-made? It is the question that decides the purchase in this category — and the information no Instagram highlight can hold.

[CONFIRM — de onde vêm os hambúrgueres, o pão e os molhos? São feitos na casa?]

No ingredient, supplier, patty brand or “house-made” claim has been written here. Inventing that on a plant-based menu is unforgivable: it is exactly the fact the customer is deciding on.

about kairú

this part gets written in a twenty-minute conversation.

[CONFIRM quem começou, por que vegano, e o que significa “Kairú”]

There is no founding year, no founders’ story and no meaning of the name on this page, because none of it was verified. The name in particular is worth asking about: if it means something, it is the best opening line the site could have.

limited edition

the burger of the month, that does not vanish in 24 hours.

A burger on a black background in dramatic light — stock image, not a Kairú product

Next drop coming soon — follow @kairu.veg. This is the piece that answers the standard objection that “a website goes stale”: you change it in a minute, in the same menu array, and unlike a Story it stays findable afterwards. No special has been fabricated here.

allergens & choices

plant-based does not mean allergen-free.

Soy and nuts are in almost every plant-based patty and cheese. A plant-based menu does not reduce the allergen burden — it shifts it. Which is why the useful filter here is not “vegan”: it is which allergen this item avoids.

Mandatory declaration — ANVISA RDC 26/2015

A per-item declaration, for those that apply:

Cross-contact

A shared fryer and a shared grill make cross-contact likely, and that has to be said in plain words — not buried in a footer. [CONFIRM]

Gluten-free bun

A frequent request in this category, and a real differentiator if it exists. [CONFIRM]

Does the kitchen handle non-vegan items?

If it does, that is stated honestly. It is better to lose a sale than to betray the trust of someone who chose you for precisely this reason. [CONFIRM]

The limited editions drop there first — and vanish there in 24 hours. The site is where they stay.

No follower count is printed: a number hardcoded into a static page ages badly.

reviews

three empty cards, and that is how they stay.

An invented testimonial is misleading advertising under CDC art. 37, and an invented delivery-app rating is worse still because it is checkable in two taps.

A burger joint often opens evenings only and closes late — but that is not assumed. And HappyCow is free: a large share of this audience finds where to eat through exactly that.
