A stone workshop in the south of the island — the yard is on your side of town.
Campeche, Rio Tavares, Ribeirão da Ilha, Pântano do Sul, Armação and Morro das Pedras. Templating, cutting and installation without hauling a slab across the city.

A written estimate, free and with no obligation. It is your right under art. 40 of the Brazilian Consumer Code: it itemises labour, materials and start and finish dates, binds the supplier for 10 days from receipt unless otherwise agreed, and nothing outside it may be charged without your authorisation. An Instagram grid cannot answer the first question a buyer asks: what have you got right now? This board answers it — as soon as the catalogue arrives.

Granite
A hard natural stone, good with heat and heavy use. Porosity varies stone to stone, so it wants periodic sealing.

Marble
The most striking material on this list and the most demanding. Porous and acid-sensitive — lemon, wine and vinegar mark it. A deliberate choice, not a surprise.

Quartzite
Movement close to marble, hardness considerably greater. Behaviour varies a great deal by stone, so each slab is judged on its own.

Engineered quartz
A non-porous surface with colour and pattern consistent slab to slab, and no sealing. It does not like direct heat.

Large-format porcelain
A thin ceramic slab, exceptionally resistant to staining and heat. It needs specific cutting and handling, particularly around cutouts.

South of the island
The name is already the strategy. It just is not being cashed.
“Sul da Ilha” is a geographic claim the owner has already made — and nobody in this market owns the southern arc in search. Campeche, Rio Tavares, Ribeirão da Ilha, Pântano do Sul and Armação are under sustained construction pressure, and a yard there means templating visits, deliveries and remedial cuts without crossing the city.

- Choosing the slabYou see the slab going into your home and mark where you want the vein. It is a genuine differentiator in this trade and it costs nothing to offer. [CONFIRM whether they do this]

- InstallationSetting and levelling on site.
- Sealing and handoverJointing, sealing and a final clean.
Edge profiles
The profiles, with their proper names.
Pure information, no prices. It is the vocabulary a customer needs before asking for a quote.
- SquareThe plain vertical face. The most direct profile and the most common.
- MitredTwo pieces joined at 45°, giving a thicker front without the extra weight.
- BullnoseA rounded arris, softer to the touch and less prone to chipping.
- ChamferA straight cut on the lower arris. Discreet.
- BevelA pronounced chamfer on the upper arris, which throws light back.
Projects
Material · neighbourhood · application.
That is what the caption has to be — and it is what makes the buyer in Ribeirão recognise their own job.
Safety and quality
Wet cutting, extraction and PPE.
Silica dust is the occupational risk that defines this trade, and almost no marmoraria in the region says a word about it. A workshop that cuts wet and controls the dust has a good story to tell — and it reads as professionalism, not as a warning.
The illustration alongside is drawn: there is no wet-cutting photograph in the placeholder library, and a photograph of dry grinding would send exactly the wrong message in a section about dust control.
Service area
The southern arc first. Then the rest.
The neighbourhoods marked in copper are the southern arc — the reason the name exists. Each is the target of its own page.

For architects and cabinetmakers
The buyers who come back.
Architects and joiners are the highest-repeat buyers in this trade, and consumer-facing marmoraria sites almost never speak to them.
- Templating from a DWG or PDF, with no sketch rework.
- A lead time agreed per job for specification work.
- A direct trade contact, outside the consumer queue.
- Coordination on install day, with the joinery already fitted.
Frequently asked
What people ask before committing.
- [CONFIRM] — no lead time is published without confirmation.
- [CONFIRM]
- [CONFIRM whether it is their own team or subcontracted]
- A recut or an adjustment depends on the piece and on what has already been cut. A yard in the south of the island fixes a correction faster than a yard on the other side of the city — but the cost and the timing of the adjustment need to be agreed. [CONFIRM the adjustment policy]
- Neutral detergent day to day, dried afterwards. Marble and granite want periodic sealing; quartz and porcelain do not. The frequency changes with the stone and the use. [CONFIRM the recommendation they give]
- The statutory warranty is 90 days for durable goods and services (CDC art. 26, II). Anything longer exists only in writing (art. 50). The material warranty and the installation warranty are separate things. [CONFIRM the terms in writing]
- This is the question that separates a fabricator from a reseller, and it changes the timing of everything. [CONFIRM whether they run their own bridge saw / CNC]
- [CONFIRM — Pix, card, instalments]
