When Brazil gets complicated,
I help make it manageable.

Documents, apostilles, bureaucracy, local representation and relocation support — for foreigners dealing with Brazil. One bilingual person, from start to finish.

Bilingual, start to finish You do not have to explain yourself twice, or translate your own problem first.
One person, not a call centre The same person answers on Tuesday as answered on Monday.
Clear scope before you pay What is being done, by when, and for how much — in writing, first.
Based in Florianópolis Physically here, in the queues, at the counters.

Your Brazil timeline

Four stages, in the order they actually happen.

Not a service menu. Most people arrive not knowing what to ask for — so this is the list of things that need doing, in sequence, with a person attached to each one.

  • Apostille your documents IN YOUR HOME COUNTRY, before you fly.
A document issued abroad is generally apostilled where it was issued — not in Brazil. Birth and marriage certificates, degrees, criminal record checks. This is the mistake that costs people months, and it is the one thing to get right before boarding.
  • Work out which documents you will actually be asked for.
The list depends on your situation and on what you intend to do here.
  • Get translations planned, not improvised.
Official use in Brazil generally requires a sworn translator — a tradutor público juramentado. Coordinating that in advance is cheaper than doing it twice.

Requirements change, and they change without notice. Confirm the current rules before you act on anything here — that is exactly what I am for. [CONFIRM]

How I help

Six things — and what each one actually means.

Only what is evidenced appears here. Anything else — sworn translation coordination, property support, CNPJ setup, an ongoing retainer, airport pickup — stays a labelled placeholder until confirmed.

How it works

Three steps, and the second one is the point.

01

Tell me your situation

Free, no obligation, and in whichever of our languages is easier for you.

02

I confirm scope, timeline and cost in writing

Before anything starts, and before you pay anything. You should never be asked to pay into a vague promise.

03

I handle it and keep you updated

With the caveat that government processing times are not mine to promise — only the steps are.

Whether you are a Brazilian who has lived abroad or a foreigner who settled here, either is a strong story — and neither has been guessed at. It is written when you write it.

Who I work with

I am not a lawyer. Here is who is.

In Brazil the practice of law is reserved to lawyers enrolled with the OAB, and immigration matters are legal matters. Nothing on this site offers or implies visa or residency assistance. What I do is administrative: preparation, scheduling, accompaniment, and coordination with the qualified professional who is actually responsible.

Legal and immigration

An OAB-registered lawyer. Whether one is engaged, who they are, and their OAB registration — with their consent before being named here — is [CONFIRM]. Note that OAB advertising rules restrict how legal services may be promoted even on someone else’s site: no results claims, no outcome testimonials, no comparative language.

Tax and accounting

A qualified accountant. Who, and for what: [CONFIRM].

Sworn translation

Official use in Brazil generally requires a tradutor público juramentado. Whether translation is coordinated with a sworn translator — which is fine and should be said — or produced in-house, which is not valid for official use, is [CONFIRM]. Nothing here advertises “certified translations” until that is settled.

Informational and administrative support only — not legal advice. Nothing on this site is legal, tax or immigration advice, and no outcome is promised. Government processing times are outside my control.

What it costs

Every situation is different — so you get it in writing first.

No price, package or “from R$X” has been invented on this page. If there are fixed prices for some services they go here, in R$ — the currency you will actually pay in — with any foreign-currency figure clearly labelled as indicative and dated.

[CONFIRM] the pricing model before this section is built. Under the Brazilian Consumer Code, scope, timeline and cost must be clear before payment — and no outcome may be advertised that cannot be guaranteed. No “guaranteed”, no “100%”, no “approved or your money back”.

FAQ

The questions people actually arrive with.

Do I need to be in Brazil to start?

No — and for the apostille step you should specifically not wait. Most of what needs doing before you fly happens in your home country.

What is an apostille, and do I need one?

It is a certificate under the Hague Convention that makes a public document from one member country valid in another. Whether you need one depends on the document and on what you are using it for. A document issued abroad is generally apostilled in the country that issued it — not here.

Can I get a CPF without a visa?

[CONFIRM]

How long does it take?

Government processing times are outside anyone’s control, mine included, and nothing on this site presents one as a promise. What I can tell you is what the steps are and what usually causes delay.

Do you handle visa applications?

Immigration matters are legal matters, and in Brazil those are handled by lawyers enrolled with the OAB. I coordinate, prepare documents, schedule and accompany — I do not advise on immigration status. Whether a lawyer is engaged and who: [CONFIRM]

What if my documents are in another language?

Official use in Brazil generally requires a sworn translation, produced by a tradutor público juramentado. Whether I coordinate a sworn translator or something else is

What does it cost?

Every situation is different, so you get a written scope, timeline and cost before anything starts and before you pay anything. Whether there are fixed prices for some services: [CONFIRM]

Will you need my passport?

Not through this website. This site never asks for a passport number, an ID number, a CPF or a document upload. After we agree what we are doing, document exchange moves to a secure, access-controlled channel.

Everything above is general information, not advice, and requirements change without notice. Confirm current rules before acting.
